If my memory serves me right Bill Maynard was blond and as wide as a brick shed.
There was also Gerry Allen, Pete Semple which spring to mind.
I will think of others as soon as the Naafi tea kicks in. headbang

there were some lads from 24 who went to cyprus with 20 Sqn in about 79/80, I went from 50 cant remember many names from back then but Bill Maynard i Knew and knew him at Iserlohn.
The other name was ollie alcock but I didnt really know him that well. Seem to think that he was Bomb disposal SSM when he left and set up his own company?

Welcome to the site, pull up a sandbag, swing a light and entertain us with your tales of bygone days. headbang

Pete, I was at 24 when the houses on Lodge Hill were being built. A few of our brickies went to work on them. I shall have to rattle my brain and come up with a few names  icon_thumleft
